Hello everyone.  After several months of putting Mars Hill Radio on the back burner, I’m finally able to spend some time interviewing guests.  See these two sites for reference: http://marshillgp.blogspot.com and http://www.youtube.com/user/MarsHillGP

Technically…it’s not “radio”, but a prerecorded Skype/Phone call between you and me discussing different points of view; me of course taking the Christian world view and you taking…well…whatever side you wish to argue. 

All you need is either a Skype account or a phone number and a point of view.    In previous shows, the topics were too wide open and made it difficult to thoroughly argue a topic since the show only lasts about an hour.  This time I would like to pick only one topic and argue that for the hour.

Here are a few topics that I would like to have discussions on with atheists, agnostics, non-theists, etc.

1. Aliens – do you believe they exist?  If so, why?  If not, why?
2. Freewill – do we have it?
3. Infanticide – Why can humans do it, but God cannot?
4. Morality – Where does it come from?
5. Child abuse – Why do you thinking teaching a child Christian views is abusive?
6. The role of Government – how much power should one have over another?

Obviously you can suggest topics as well.  My goal is to have a reasonable discussion without descending into ad hominem attacks.

People will start fighting against the government...

Hard to believe that almost 30 years ago (September 1984) those words above, written by a poor Romanian pastor, would mirror how close we really are to a Civil War in this country.   If you think we are not headed for one then you really need to pull your head out of your keester. 

I don't say much when it comes to making comments about the situation we find ourselves in.  Others do a much better job of that then I do (see: http://www.mikeboldea.blogspot.com ).   But I wanted to post those words and the link to the full vision to remind myself, and anyone else that cared to read this, that our hope will not be found in ammunition, politician, or Constitution.  It will only be found in Jesus Christ.
