As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I just wanted to say that I enjoyed this discussion and appreciated the respectful exchange between the two of you. There were a few questions asked that Mr. Hunter struggled with that I wished he could have answered a little differently, but he showed a lot of courage allowing himself to be put on the spot. Overall, I thought he did a great job, and I thought you were fair and kind with your questioning.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite apologetics resources is http://www.jefflindsay.com/LDSFAQ/ You asked many questions that are addressed in a very competent manner by Mr. Lindsay - things like the nature of God, eternal progression, Joseph Smith's accounting of his experiences, etc. You might find answers to some of your questions there.
